Good thing - ultimatums from your spouse that refer to getting you to do something fun...

Hopefully the Sprint race was fun despite the errors - I find that a sloppy race is good once in a while to give you a sharp reminder that you've got to pay attention to navigation, too :) And to remind you how much quality navigational work you're doing when a race goes cleanly.

Looks like you & Sandra had a fun trip in Arizona - it brought back my own memories of a trip (with some running too) at Sedona and the Grand Canyon a few years ago. Unbelievably huge stuff, and cool how with the good visibility, you can sometimes see people looking tiny when they are far away in the distance, and then a little while later, you're there :)

Actually, I think you are very right with the "sloppy race" theory. I did learn a lot of that bad race. I hope I can put my experience into practice. To bad it is a long while until the next sprint.

Arizona was incredible. I feel at home with high mountains around me, but never I have experienced something similar in any way to the Grand Canyon. A deserted plain, and suddenly, whoof, a huge negative world opens itself. I told every Swiss person it is a must to see before they die!

Unfortunately we just drove through the Sedona region, doing only one little jog. But I have already put a longer stay there on my next trip to Arizona, whenever it will be.
