We are now ready to start taking registrations for this summer's Rocky Mountain 1000 Day. The registration form and much other information is up at our web site (with more information to come over time): http://www.geocities.com/Colosseum/Stadium/7418/

Just as we've done in the past, we have a sliding entry fee schedule based on date of entry, and folks wanting to stretch their O' budget as far as possible can enter anytime between now and Feb 28 and get the lowest rate.

This 1000 Day will be the biggest we've put together, and--we think--it includes more days of orienteering than any single O' package that has taken place in the US. Besides our usual delicacies such as The Stampede, The Prologue/Chase, and The Crystal Relay, this year's 1000 Day will also include 4 "A" days (the first 2 taken together will constitute The Western States Championships for eligible runners), 3 separate sprints that will count towards the Sprint Series, the US Night Championships, and, for the first time ever in the Rockies, the US Classic Championships. Now that's a 1000 day!!!

We're looking forward to a lot of super fun orienteering, and we hope to see all of you in Laramie and Buena Vista.

And I suspect you've got a thousand days of work to do preparing for it. Thanks! And see you there :)

It better not be much more than 200 days of work, otherwise we're in bad trouble! ; )
