Mostly a message for Ken but also for others' consideration:

Have you thought about limiting (or being able to custom-specify) how many messages on the discussion page get shown at a time? It seems like the webserver sometimes has to work really hard to construct this page now that there are so many messages...

Yep, drop down menu with choices:
Last Week
Last Month
Last 3 Month
Last Year
All

would be nice.

Even just archiving previous years would make a big difference what with messages stretching back to 2000.

The same sort of thing would also be nice for the training log. And a real wish list item would be a function that allows you to compare your training with another period.

e.g. this month vs. last month or this year vs. last year

Pressing stop right after the page changes but before it fully loads seems to eliminate this problem, and you only see most recent discussions, well, depending on the speed of your connection.
