That seems like a great result to me!! Orienteering at 7:05/km in the dark isn't easy, you know! =)

It does look like a good result. Was the race on the Vardsatra Skog map?

I'm just getting into using Attack Point (New Year's resolution). I guess I didn't know where you have been in Sweden. It is neat to start reading your log, bringing back memories of all my runs and O around Uppsala, where I spent Nov 1983-Nov 1984. Maybe you've run by my old apartment at Flogstavagen 49C. My club was IF Thor and there may be a few old-timers who still remember me, particularly the Jacobsson family.

Cool! I am sure I've run by your old apartment - in fact, I almost moved in next door to it when I first got here.
I also realize that my current club - OK Linne - didn't exist when you were here! Linne was formed when the Fyris and Fyrismalm clubs (which were probably Thor's weak rivals when you were in Uppsala) joined about 10 years ago.

Yeah, Spike, it was on the Vardsatra Skog map, which is why I could run a decent race - with all the trails, it was hard to get lost. :)

Trails, snails. 7 min/k is a good time. Nice job!

Oh. I've heard of OK Linne but it must be more recently. Thanks for the reply.

Tony, take a look at www.oklinne.nu and at http://www.oklinne.nu/maps/maps_overview.php . You'll probably recognize some maps you used to run on!
