Okay, there are quite a few maybes here ... we will go for Houghton's Pond at 9:30am tomorrow (Sunday, 1/8) IF AND ONLY IF I know that some people are definitely coming. So far it looks like people are more interested in 90 minutes than 120 minutes, we can tailor it to whoever shows up.
If you are definitely going to come, send me an email or respond to this thread or call me by 8:15am on Sunday. If no one says they are definitely coming ... then I won't be there either! But I hope that we'll get a few folks out ...
Training for 1/22 will definitely happen, more news soon.

I'm planning on coming up, would prefer a group run closer to 2 hours, but I can always tack on some extra mileage if the motivation to run solo is still there after 90 minutes with the group.

However, if no one else is coming out, I can save the gas and run locally - I'd prefer running with others, so will make the trip if others are coming to make it a group thang..

I'll check back here tomorrow AM around 7:30, if no one else has chimed in I'll stay home and run a road race instead (yuck).

if others contact you directly, drop a note here so I know the group thing is on... thanks

IGNORE THIS ONE ....As of 7:15, no one else. So I'd say save the gas ... Sorry, but do plan on the 22nd, because it looks like a lot of people can make that one. (Hope we don't get 3 feet of snow before then!)
I'm going to keep trying with organizing these things though, so there will be plenty more chances!
I am going to give the 'locals' until 8:15 or so to give me their final plans (as of yesterday I had 2 more 'maybes'), so there is a slim possibility that we will still go today. But it is looking pretty slim.

thanks for the update, I'll stay local & change the plans. My 7-year old has been wanting to try a 5k, so perhaps we'll do that this afternoon and I'll do a longer run midweek.

22nd is tentative for me, but I'm interested pending family plans....

Okay! I am very sorry about all this confusion! Pia has become definite, so it is going to happen ... whether we are 2, 3 or more is yet to be determined. I guess 7:15 was too early a time to be 'final' ... but I do understand the driving factor.

Hope to see lots of people on the 22nd, and maybe a few more today ...
