whoah, I thought your 10 points for Dickie Wren were in doubt?

It depends how you classify where somebody is 'based'. I would say it's where they live, and Dickie lives in Marsden, which is non-Sheffield, IMHO.

but I thought the concept was you got more points because it was somebody you wouldn't expect to see in Sheffield.... I'm not playing so doesn't really bother me either way

it bothers me -marsden is 'sheffield' -dickie is in dark peak -goes to orienteering sessions in sheffield -works in sheffield -cheat

I wouldn't expect to see Dickie in Sheffield. He only comes here to work, during which time most of the rest of us are at work as well, meaning a very small time window and low probability of seeing him, and therefore high points.

oh and rachs housemate, who we basically live next door to -now thats a suprise if i stood around on blake street in my running kit i'd probably see her too, oh and rach and alex as well maybe?

dickie should count as sheffield based anyhoo.
assuming he works 9-5, add in the commute and he then spends the majority of his waking hours (assuming he's not an idiot with no sleep) either in or on the way to/from sheffield. that must classify as based in sheffield.
