Thank you for this. If a person registered and paid two years ago and now wants to add two events to the list of events how is that done. Is it necessary to do the whole registration process again? Or is there an express line for entry upgrades?

My guess is the registrar is prepared to help you, and would rather you not register again. There should be a contact address in your registration comfirmation.

Unrelated to entry prices but... Poison ivy came up on a thread for another event, which made me wonder about the World Rogaining Championship. My only visit to that part of the world was when I was a pacer at the Western States 100. I remember running in the dark between walls of poison oak. That was later in the race so it would have been at a lower elevation. I'm curious about the WRC area. It looks like it might be at a high enough elevation to avoid poison oak. Thanks!

Indeed poison oak is common at the lower reaches of the Western States Trail. Say everything west of Michigan Bluff. As you go east there's less and less. None in the Tahoe Basin I know of

Speaking of high enough elevation and the Tahoe basin… will the snow melt in time for the races? If not. Advantage Canada.

I found poison oak higher than expected in the Sierra along HIghway 80 around 5,000 feet, but I've never seen it in an orienteering mapped area in the Sierras.
