jingo6390:
This question from a newbie: Who posts the Tucson Event and Races from Western States Champs? And are the split times posted by the organizers or does each individual post their own split times?

Cristina:
Anyone can create a new race and start entering splits + (optionally) leg lengths. In this case, as soon as I get the course files from the setters I'll create and import the leg lengths for any that haven't been created.

As far as split times, generally each person enters their own. They can be uploaded for everyone who was there but I don't think we will for this one. We'll see. (No harm in entering your own.)

The course files usually(sometimes) also have all the compeditors and their splits so everything can be uploaded at once, although Ken may be the one to do the mass upload...?

For events with e-punch results, you should send them to me, and I can upload them all at once. your results software should have the option to export by course in IOF xml format, that's what I need.

Are the Tuscon courses going on to Route Gadget? I would love to follow some of those racers, even vicariously.

Yep, Day 1 courses are up here. Day 2 sometime...

Thanks. Now the challenge will be to get those who competed to fill in their routes. C'mon Anders, Ron, Bob and others in M 60+ let me see what I should have done if I could have done it!

Cristina, if you didn't already, could you point to Route Gadget from the results section of the event website?

Can we get the leg lengths added to the courses too?
Feb 26, 2008 11:37 PM #
Cristina:
Barb: now there's a link. no day 2 just yet.
Janet: Trail-O results will be posted as soon as the Trail-O gurus get a chance to email them
Ratlaf: leg lengths added to the courses that weren't already created... even white and yellow for jingo6390's kids.

Further requests should be submitted attached to a bag of kettle corn.

FYI, Ratleaf, anybody with a ruler and a copy of the map can enter the lengths (I added the Blue ones).
