This is definitely happening, right? Because Nancy and I are about to buy airline tickets.

First of all: awesome!

All of our permitting documentation has been submitted, and the landowners have given indication that the permits will be granted without issue. I just reached out to both landowners (the state and the University of Montana) to double-check on the status and can report here once I hear back.

Both landowners have gotten back to us saying that we'll get permits, so the event is a go.

Ooookay, I'll have Nancy look into rustling up some airplane tickets.

As we suspected, rental cars may be the bottleneck at the moment. Pricey!

Maybe I could join you on that rental car?

Did you guys figure out the logistics? The map will be Balter-field checked, so higher quality than any of our maps so far.

Triggers are being pulled. We have lodging, rental car, and plane tickets for Nancy and myself, with a ticket for Steve hopefully coming shortly.

Yep I'm in too. Really looking forward to this! If we have the ambition on arrival (Fri. 1pm), where would be a good place to go? Soft Rock looks like fun and you already provided the map.

Yup, Soft Rock. It will probably have some updates to it by then also. If you don't feel like driving, then Blue Mountain.
