Discussion: Shades of Death Rogaine

Registration is now open for the Shades of Death Rogaine at Hickory Run State Park on June 27th. 4, 7, or 10 hours of map and compass adventure on four fully contiguous orienteering maps. Come join us for a fun day in the woods, and see how much of this challenging terrain you can conquer.

Was thinking of the same thing.
Placing one-gallon plastic jugs in the woods would probably considered
littering. Maybe if you stash it next to a trash container it would be ok.

@CHand, you can always look for human settlements and beg for food, water, and other beverages. Frank Boscoe and I had some luck in 2017 in Central New York Rogaine

That was the year I managed to roll a tree onto myself...had to get an ultrasound to check for blood clots...

is there any tent camping sites available? Looks like there aren't ... anyone has a tent site that can share for one tent?
