What should have been a clever marketing play-on-words gone wrong

@jennycas- love it! That's the sort of AFJ's I love. MANY years ago there was one on NBN (ie Newcastle's own tv station) about exploding Spring rolls and I don't think there was even a sniff about impugning the reputation of said product.

A few years ago there was a 1 April story (can't remember where) that the NRL was going to ban tattoos.

Wish the players had heard that one.

Then there are the occasional April Fool stories which are intended to make a serious point. There was a fine example this year when the Public Transport Users Association reported that Vicroads and Public Transport Victoria were to be merged, and that as part of the merger motorists would now have to wait as long for green lights as public transport users have to wait for trains or buses.

My limited experience in Vic so far seems to show that is already the case, at least with green right turn arrows that last about as long as the first five cars in the queue.
