How can you ever compare the glorious Ca’B to what looks to be an area of the NE of England they’d have to include in a family friendly long weekend of orienteering to get anyone to go to? Ca’B is so wonderful in so many different ways (all of which ensure my husband comes back swearing. We have polar opposite tastes. In fact I am really looking forward to splits starts again. I’m either first off and get the honour of an untrashed forest, or last and Ray comes back uttering every swear word under the sun and I know I am in for a treat).

Sad that there have to be Graeme areas and non-Graeme areas. Penhale sands JK would have been better than most areas?

Penhale is deffo a Graeme&Ray type area. Shame it got stopped. Barns Cliff was a JK long in about '87. Splits starts are a distant memory, but I reckon you'll have a queue of offers for Bertie watching duty.
