I missed seeing him, too bad. My hunch is all the crazies were over at the capital in Cheyenne, getting new infusions of lunacy. Ironic, considering how it coincided with the full moon. Or maybe the word should be "appropriate" rather than "ironic"? I must admit my use of the language is not always exactly spot on.

Btw, it appears likely the NCAA will approve a change to the transfer rules, where each athlete will be able to transfer one time without having to sit out a year. This has given rise to some degree of enthusiasm among Wyoming fans who don't know better that Allen might transfer from the Bills to the (Wyoming) Cowboys and take advantage of one last year of eligibility. For sure Wyoming could use a quarterback that knows how to pass the ball.

Personally I don't see it happening though, keeping in mind the timeless observation that "once a man arrives to Buffalo, he never leaves, but is consigned to being buried in the snowdrifts until his mortal days are spent."

Anyone who returned to the east after having moved to Colorado has veritably displayed highly questionable judgment, and the standard professional practice will be to view any of their subsequent movements critically and with prejudice.

But the blame for that falls on his wife, Professor Meghan. You go where the geography faculty opportunity leads you. (Although I think when there was a possibility of Florida, he said he'd reconsider marrying her.)

I guess my own movements fall into the "dubious" category, though. I did look up the boring little house where I lived in Boulder recently on Zillow. 0.17 acre lot, 1270 square ft, no garage, $800K. I couldn't afford to live there any more.

Maybe the gods will take that into account as they render their judgment. With gods, who knows?
