We were just talking about that today! A handful of cars covered in dust all on their lonesome. You have to hope their owners are okay and coming home sometime soon. And what about their houses and their pets...?
Maybe the owners just found an easy option to dispose of their vehicles. Does the airport ever check cars that have been in long term a really, really long time or do they just rub their hands in glee with all the money they'll get if and when the owner ever drives out?
Heard a story yesterday about people in Dubai who'd lost their jobs during the pandemic abandoning their cars (mostly expensive ones with lots of money owing on them) in the airport car park and fleeing the country.
Hoping today's hailstorm missed the airport (think it probably did from the rainfall figures).
