Which way did you go to 165? I didn't see the best route (left) and went right and up the dodgy firebreak. I did ride that but it was slow.
Wasn't helped by 151; took me a long time on the single track to get there from the north and then I took the wrong decision coming out of it.

Getting to 147 was my big mistake. Then didn't take the time to read and plan. Rode the single track all the way to 151, which seemed slow.
Out of 151 to east, then left, right, left, up to the top of the ridge. Along ridge to the single track that circled the hill top.
I did stop think, have a drink and give myself a talking to once I was out of 151. I did look at the route you took.

Often the way that once you make a mistake you make another one straight away. I'm pretty sure 151 was too far south (so felt longer and slower than it should have), hence I was discombobulated and rushed the route choice for the long leg.

Yeh, looks like about 100m further south via riding distance.

Yes #151 was further to the SW as admitted by the course setter afterwards. I thought at the time it was further than I expected but I just kept riding and found it, basing my route to the next leg on where it should have been rather than where it was - I *may* have cut out to the fire road to the S had I known at the time but knowing me I still would have attacked #149 from the hill (east) side (thankfully I abandoned that option halfway up the hill and contoured on the single track to the control instead).
