Passed by a pusher and propelling runner for the second time in my life yesterday. Couldn't keep up.
I had it happen at a parkrun earlier this year though the guy did end up winning in a <19 time. Probably could have kept up with him given he finished only 8sec in front but I couldn't be bothered.
We bought a speedy pram with 20 inch wheels and James has been training.
I think the world record for the pram marathon is something like 2.30. A age-related balance to be struck here between minimising the weight of the occupant and maximising the probability that the occupant will be willing to stay there for the requisite time.
@invis was it an E-Pusher
James is a good runner but i think a sub 2.30 pram marathon might be pushing it.
The pram is actually helpful on flats and slight downhills.
jayne I'm not sure if that was an intentional pun or not.
It wasn't, then i realised what I'd written and decided to leave it
