I thought New Castle was a nice place. Does the trail start/finish around the soccer field? There was a lot of biking going on around there.

Yes, exactly! There was a soccer game when I was there yesterday afternoon...

Wooo, Funemployment! Enjoy!

Jan or Feb trip to Tucson?

That's interesting. I'm taking the bike next season. That whole "complex" is like a massive pump track and then it disappears into the hills there. If only I'd known...Grrrr. Enjoy the trip. I took a break from AP and didn't realise you'd been made redundant. Next time let me know and stay with us. Loads to see and bike around here. (Not next time you're laid-off....I mean next time you want to have a staycation.)

Cristina, a Feb trip might be a possibility! We'll see what happens with my last-minute GMAT & grad school application (due 12/15)...

Danny, I'm not sure if the trails in the immediate vicinity of the soccer fields connect to this loop, but I parked there and rode about a half-mile back through the neighborhood to start: Dirty Dozen. "Made redundant" is such a British-sounding phrase -- it makes me laugh. Thank you for the staycation invitation!!! :-)

Along with being "Made Redundant" comes "Redundancy Pay!!"
Thanks for the link. Definitely going to try it.
