I have had exactly that same issue and have also only run in VJ Falcons for like the last 20 years. I was sad to find that the most current ones are too narrow.

I decided to find an Inov8 shoe that can work and can finally recommend the Inov-8 X-Talon 255, which fit my wide feet rather nicely.

Funny! Thanks for the tip, I could do with some non studded trail running shoes anyway.

Did you get the same size as the Falcons? One site said the Talons were ‘small fitting’ so one should get half a size up

I got 10.5, which corresponds pretty well to my size 43.5 feet.
