I dunno, it's not so bad here.
Okay, it's not like where you've been, but I think it's quite tolerable. Depends, I guess, on what you want to do and the level of crowds/annoyances you can deal with.
See you in the fall? winter? next spring?

I think it's all relative. Keeping a toddler away from other people or, say, crowded playground equipment is not easy in the city. Plus, living in an apartment building means necessary proximity to people in close quarters. All of that seems very uncomfortable after several months of complete isolation from other people and great access to outdoor space...

We are heading to Montana for the summer so we can get some help with childcare while teleworking. Not sure for how long... It depends on when we are called back to the office.

Montana, in the summer, with family you can actually interact with - going to be pretty hard to beat!

Sounds like a great move at this time...you’re lucky to have such a good situation plus babysitting perks.

Washington D.C. is the worst-run American city

Both Missoula, MT and Durham, NC are in the top 10, among the Best
