I created this AttackPoint event for the May-October 2020 "permanent" courses (Yellow and Green) on the Oak Hill map at Dartmouth College, in case anyone else wants to upload splits for comparison. Thanks to Carl Childs for setting these courses.

I was hoping to make a trip up to Burnt Mountain and Oak Hill at some point this summer. Are there flags in the woods for this?

The Oak Hill courses (green and yellow--I did both, and found the yellow to be pretty yellow-ish for the first 3 controls, but then orange-ish to brown-ish for the rest!) are regular controls, with codes to match clues, no punches or QR or anything like that--just self timed. They have been out since the beginning of May and will be there until the end of October.

The Burnt Mountain courses (red and brown) were supposed to be out starting this weekend, but the UNO web page for this says that permission has not been finalized yet. I haven't talked lately to my clubmates who are setting this up, so don't know any more than that. When/if it does go up, it's supposed to stay up through the summer into September. Regular controls with QR codes.

There is camping at the Storrs Pond Rec Area right at the Oak Hill site. But when I was there Friday, the sign said camping is for New Hampshire residents only for the time being.

My club (UNO) just sent out a notice that the Burnt Mountain courses are up and available through the end of September.

There is timing available using your phone, QR codes, and iOrienteering. Personally, I'll probably just time myself with my watch. And then put up "races" here on AttackPoint (if nobody beats me to it) to record and analyze the splits. Might just add the Burnt Mountain courses to this "event" rather than creating a new one; Oak Hill and Burnt Mountain are only a couple of miles apart, they are both on Dartmouth College land, and they are both available all summer into the fall.

I uploaded my splits for the Burnt Mountain Red Course on July 7, under the heading "Burnt Mountain.......".

Here is the Burnt Mountain event that Ernst added. So forget what I said about adding the Burnt Mountain courses to the same event as the Oak Hill courses, I didn't get around to it. So far only the Burnt Mountain red course has been added to the new event, anybody can add the other courses if I don't get around to it.

I was hoping to use one of these - probably Oak Hill, for a trek leg for the USARA virtual nationals. Any reason to think it would be taken down by Sept 12th? Thanks.
