Ecmo:
One of my favourite activities these days is "Late afternoon run because it was too cold to get out of bed early in the morning". Then there's another popular one "Supposed to be a speed session but felt crap so just went for a slow run instead".

This particular session title was actually inspired by Bridget (at least a decade ago).

Plagiarist.
(I beat Ricky to the criticism, for once)

tRicky:
I had no intention of commenting on that but you did just beat me to my comment.

gudeso has 54 different activities, many of which are markedly similar to each other including: "MTBO Race" and "MTBO event" (not sure what the difference is there); his best one "Searching lost items"; and one that's simply titled "Blue".

@ecmo - you been delving in my mind???

O-ing:
That's impressive from Gudeso. I thought Aoife had a lot of activities but she only has the same number - 54.

By the way I suspect Blair has one of the fewest at just 12 activity types (including the Lame walk/jog one). I only have 11.

tRicky:
It's 56 if you include the default 'running' and 'fast running'.
Jun 4, 2020 5:25 AM #
O-ing:
Default "fast running"???? Wha?
Jun 4, 2020 6:02 AM #
tRicky:
The top two items on everyone's list (if you're looking at training 'by year') are Running and Fast Running.

O-ing:
Wow. OK so, you can add two activities to mine (13), because I looked under "add training". Its weird that you can't select either 'running' and 'fast running' from there. But they get added to everyone's activity list under "all weeks", "months or "years".

Bomb:
'fast running' may be listed as an activity, but I've definitely never logged (done) any!
Jun 4, 2020 6:59 AM #
tRicky:
Bomb has this exact same training activity I notice. Biddy has a similar but not identical one.

jennycas:
I only have 10 activities on my list (definitely no fast running), but they include:
Concert-standing
Subarallying
Housebreaking 101

Uncle JiM:
@Jenny, you do have 12 (scroll to bottom) https://www.attackpoint.org/yearlyactivityall.jsp/...

jennycas:
So, that's what Ricky means by the defaults which AP automatically adds for 'running' and 'fast running' - in that case, every one of us will have running in our activity list three times, but as far as I'm concerned two of the listings don't count because they are duplicates/triplicates, plus they are not ones which we can manually choose when logging training.

slow-twitch:
so, um..., Jenny.... just out of curiosity... do you often log that last activity on your list of examples?
Jun 4, 2020 7:38 AM #
Bomb:
probably not often. she hasn't listed 'advanced housebreaking' as an activity
Jun 4, 2020 11:47 AM #
tRicky:
Strangely when I read Jenny's list of activities I decided she'd excluded cycling for some reason (even though I've seen it in her log) and attributed riding to the back-of-horse kind.

jennycas:
Nay/neigh. As I recall, the crash course in Housebreaking 101 took place when I went outside to get the paper and the front door slammed behind me so then I was locked out of the house (in the front garden; gates to the back locked also), wearing summer pyjamas and with something cooking on the stove inside...

So...what happened next:-)

tRicky:
Strangely she hasn't logged that incident, only an unrelated incident from 2009.
