How is Alex doing? News, man, we need news! You can't leave the whole extended AP family hanging like this! Give us the stats. What's the length and climb? Is she a biggins or more of an OlegBlokhin?
Nov 2, 2005 2:20 PM #
j-man:
What is an OlegBlokhin?
ëûæåðîëëåðû (êëàññèêà ðàçìèíêà) !

Obviously, my accent needs some work. That wasn't exactly what I was trying to say.

So that's why AttackPoint's had so many upgrades recently. Ken had realized that if he didn't get it done quick it might not happen for a long time... Congrats, Ken & good luck.
Nov 2, 2005 3:39 PM #
Wyatt:
(By the way, that last post was me, while logged in as Angelica to post a training item for her...)

Must have been tough to choose a name for her: Samantha, Erin, Pam, Sandy, Sandra, Suzanne, Hillary, Victoria, Karen, Angelica, Christina, Clare, and oh so many others I've falied to list.

And congratulations to Kan, Alex, and grand-daddy'O

Wonderful news! Carrying a Samantha around in a back pack is good training experience, it worked for me.......
Nov 3, 2005 10:40 AM #
ken:
thanks everyone, no time allowed for internet these days, let alone training...even typing is hard with no free hands (she's in my lap now). Samantha was born on sunday...9lbs 2.5oz, 20.5". we managed 2x2hrs sleep last night, up from 1x1.5 the night before. we're doing well otherwise.

of course we think she's cute, but maybe you will too.

also, wyangelica is not far off the mark regarding AP work;-)

Congrats, Ken & Alex. She is soooo cute!

Wyatt:
I'm sitting with Oriana on my lap - and she's clicking on the photos. She likes the 'burrito' wrapped Samantha best :)
Nov 3, 2005 1:36 PM #
Wyatt:
Looking back at when Oriana (my 2nd child) was born: http://www.attackpoint.org/viewlog.jsp?userid=68&p... Apparently this is the time I _started_ Attackpoint logging for real - I _needed_ to stay motivated and run/orienteer at that point.

She's gorgeous! And Alex looks wonderful, but where's Daddy - must be frazzled still. Grand-daddy-o even looks relaxed. Babysitting may just suit him.

From,
Great Auntie-O & Great Uncle-O

DarthBalter:
Hey George, All this Grand- and Great- sounds scarry - you are too fast to be Great Uncle-O, stay just Great-O (not too modest, but sounds good).
We need more Walkers in the woods!
Nov 3, 2005 11:15 PM #
feet:
Well, Greg, you too can be GregBalter-O if only you can persuade a Walker to adopt you.
Nov 4, 2005 1:05 AM #
peggyd:
She's adorable! And she shares a birthday with my husband, which is cool :-)
Nov 4, 2005 1:25 AM #
khall:
Congratulations to all (especially Alex, as 9 lbs is no small workout!). Samantha is beautiful. When you get 1 x 5 hours sleep, I promise it will seem like heaven.
Will she be ready for an outing in time for the Traverse or the NEOC club champs??
Nov 4, 2005 7:51 PM #
Sergey:
Opla! Couple months out of Attackpoint and so many changes!

Congratulations to Alex and Kenny! Samantha is beautiful like her mother is! And this is only the beginning :)
Nov 4, 2005 9:59 PM #

Adoption!? Hmmm - we could consider appropriate offers ;-} The terrain is great around here, just needs a bit more mapping.
