I doubt it. Maybe just spread out more in the future.

I remember many years ago, when there was a "postal track meet", between NEOC, and the combined forces of OK/SLOC/PTOC. There were various distances, and you ran whatever ones you wanted and sent in your times (I think Peter Gagarin was the scorekeeper). This happened maybe two times, maybe more, I forget, but it would have been in the late 1980s (I don't feel like digging out the old issues of The NEOC Times right now). The distances ranged from (I think) 100 meters up to 100 miles, and there was a scoring chart based on age and sex. Just completing the distance at all would score you at least one point, and if you did it fast, you could get more.

Anyway, the two standout performances that I remember were Hillary Saeger for the 100 meters, and Anne Parson (Dentino) for 100 miles. Hillary's time was not very fast, but it was nevertheless impressive because she had just learned to walk. And Anne completed the 100 miles, but I think it took her at least a couple of weeks.
