Discussion: Bleeding obvious

A good one from 7 News the other night, something along the lines of 'incurring debt that'll have to be repaid in the future'. Probably makes sense to repay it after it's incurred rather than before.

Channel 9 doesn't want to miss out on reporting idiosyncrasies either: "The only way you can have a drink in a Sydney restaurant as of tomorrow is if you're accompanied with a meal". Is the meal allowed to have a drink too?

Weather presenter on Nine local reported that today would be overcast and cloudy, then did a little chortle... probably embarrassment.

I once almost accidentally issued a seasonal outlook with a headline "Winter likely in southern Australia".

That is reassuring!
