What has been your favorite training session you have done since all the new restrictions have taken place?
Have there been training sessions you would really like to do but can't now?

Workouts. It would be good for some nav training to get off the heritage trail, need to get some new running shoes to protect my princess feet. Otherwise, my favourite would be intervals, going in a 3-week rotation of 6*1km, 15*hill sprints, 10*footy oval perimeter + diameter.

Riley, have you got a map which shows you all the tracks in John Forrest? We used to do 2hrs runs through John Forrest when we lived in Glen Forrest and there are so many more great tracks to run on than just the railway trail. I think you'd want a map though to feel happy to explore, at least until you get familiar. Looks like you and Mason could still do your long runs together now they are letting you exercise with 1 other person if you keep your 1.5m distance. I'll see if I can find any maps we have. I can send you through some courses to try too. Maybe at Christmas Tree Creek?
Yeah, I prefer the harder runs too. Intervals and tempos. Used to really enjoy long runs, but my feet get sore by an hour through.

Also, maybe have a look at suburbrun. It's free and there are quite a few metro style courses to choose from in Swanview, Jane Brook and Stratton, which I think are all fairly near to you. Not bush navigation but our Bush season wasn't due to start until May anyway. Still good to do map reading and thinking while running.
