it seems. Surely Corona will cause challenges for boaters this spring. Aren't boat yards closed for time being as nonessential? Getting my boat sold will be a challenge with the likelihood of economic insecurity overshadowing 'optional indulgence'.
The boatyard where I store the boat is certainly closed. But the local West Marine store was open. Maybe they are considered hardware stores? The marina where I dock the boat will be open because they also provide docking and services for the marine assets of various police agencies (and we have a lot of that around here). But I don't know yet if I will be able to get the boat launched.
I think you are right about the challenge of selling a boat. But you never know. Might be a good time for someone to spend weeks on the ocean.
Ah, some mythical deserted semi-tropical paradise as a destination that would have to be in the Atlantic for convenience sake. A boat load of supplies and whiskey, proper companionship, and clean water, fruits and protein sources ashore. Did I leave anything out? Netflix...?
BTW, speaking of the last, Joe Exotic keeps us coming back. Fwiw, Beth points out that there is not a reputable person in the lot. She may be a little harsh.
Barb and I are binging "Bunheads" on Hulu. Very escapist. Nice dancing.
bl>> Maybe a fully staffed ICU just in case...
