I'm assuming you already checked it's within the zone of VA for which LiDAR point cloud data exists and is freely available.

Kartapullautin - software for automatically generating something as close to an orienteering map as possible from LiDAR point cloud data. Given good data and depending on the nature of the terrain, the result is often good enough to use for training.

If you move to countryside, I recommend you get food that grows in the backyard or walks on its own, just in case this isn't over in a month or two.
