To Australian entrants of Easter 3 Days:
I will be donating my entry refund to a couple of local charities in Orange. These are
Foodcare Orange and
Veritas House Orange, and I encourage those of you who can afford it to do the same, or donate to other Orange district charities.
I've asked for a refund because I can't commit at this stage to hold my entry over until next Easter.
I don't know if I will be attending Easter next year (maybe our performer application for next years National Folk Festival will be accepted this time) but have chosen to transfer my entry over to 2021 in the interests of the carnival.
I was told you can still request a refund up until close of entries next year if you transfer this year.
Move on, if you want to give cash to a charity then do it and you don't need to make it a public effort.
Get out to the beer shop and stockpile beer from
Badlands Brewery - its good for what ales you
@LOST_Richard I believe simmo's purpose was to encourage others to do the same, not to virtue signal.
Correct Tobby - I think that Orange's economy, already affected by drought, will not now benefit from the Easter orienteering events, so trying to help the more disadvantaged in the region.
undy I'm not much of a beer drinker anyway, and Badlands may be difficult to find in WA, but I will try to source some wines from Orange.
