you had 259 starts, on somewhat slow terrain, more than last US Champs in California. QOC doing something right, we need that brought to NYC

...and that is most every weekend they host an event.

Is that the Rick Oliver?

The one and only.

Rick Oliver, also Tom Bruce, Ron Pontius, Chris Gross -- probably others I'm forgetting -- they all are still around here and make appearances.
QOC is definitely doing something right. Kathleen Lennon has done a ton of work with publicity, from Facebook to Instagram to Snapchat (? not sure about that one) and it's been paying off. We also get, on any given event day, a bunch of ROTC kids and/or adventure runners.
It's a great club to be a part of!

And we had 283 starts at our last event, at Pohick!

Another that I noticed in results: Dave Pruden. (Apparently he was there at the Bumble but somehow I missed him.)

Though it's great to see the old-timers QOC keeps in the mix, it's especially great to see the young folk.

Of course, Dave. He's a regular (the others are more sporadic). Dave's daughter Maggie comes frequently as well.
Agree, it's great to have a bunch of juniors attending!
