You're trying to be sneaky aren't you Tane, but I can tell from your heart rate if you are running or biking.
Where did you learn detective skills like that?
What I want to know is how you got back out. I think you're doing secret training and not logging it all.
Cadence data is also helpful, drops to zero a lot. suspect there was no running as it never gets higher than 74 either. Suggests to me that cadence is via the pedal and he was carrying his bike???
I like the mysterious black for 'unspecified'. Stealth training!
Ive figured out where you went from the altitude profile.
oh he's made all the data disappear. Sad.
are you sure he hasn't just reformatted it to black font on black background?
It's ok, I've got a screenshot. Im going to put it on Facebook.
Tasks of the modern WRE controller: reminding the course-setter that before they test-run the course they need to switch off the auto-upload of their track to AP and/or Strava.
You've got to give Tane credit for trying. He failed, but at least he tried.
Interesting test to see what you can and can't see when the data is uploaded. I delayed upload, because it was auto upload. Default is "friends only" (might need to revisit this list? Brent?) I switched to "visible to just you" immediately after uploading (within seconds) but two things, some geeks were on attackpoint for the 2 seconds the data was visible and were able to open. And secondly even when hidden elevation data is not hidden, which is a bit bizarre if you ask me
yeah I saw the full gps of one of the files so know exactly where you went. but that doesn't matter cos I aint going there.
I know that greig hamilton has gone as far as trying to get gps data out of course photos that i've taken previously, I'm smarter than him though and don't activate gps on my phone or camera. perhaps if i did upload my files then people would believe my course notes when I tell them its 4kph instead they just all think I'm bullshitting and plan the whole thing and wonder why they fail.
Also just because we went where we did doesn't necessarily mean the course will go there
If that was the case Tane, why would you feel the need to be so secretive about it? All you can do now is head out there again and deliberately go on areas that the course isn't going to try and confuse us.
But we know you will be doing that now...we're always one step ahead of you Tane!
And I wasn't doing that before? :D
That's called "getting lost" Tane, just own it. It's ok.
