Happy New Year! Glad things are going better with the sleeping.
We had very few day care bugs until they started crawling/walking and interacting with the other kids. Before about 8 months most of the body fluid interaction is with the care givers. It's when they start to slobber everywhere, hand off toys, get their hands in each other's mouths, etc, that it ramps up.
Oh joy! So we have a few months grace!
Really getting quite nervous about it now even though there were so many happy children there - sure it will be fine!
They build up immunities too, but yeah, day care germs....
Except today we find out he's going to be the youngest in his infant room and everyone else is sitting and crawling. So I don't think we're getting that grace. Oh well!
He looked very small in there amongst 6-8 month olds. It doesn't feel good.
I should add that it was 5 very happy and friendly 6-8 month olds. I'm sure he will be fine. It just feels terrible.
