Discussion: Adding events to calendar?

I may be misunderstanding something but I believe attackpoint automatically pulls events from the Why Just Run calendar (or at least used to). First of all can someone (Ken?) confirm this? Orienteering Ottawa added events to our why just run calendar a few weeks ago that aren't showing up in Attackpoint. Should they be? Should I be adding all of our events manually?

It should be automatic once a club's WhyJustRun feed is connected, which yours is. Let me look into why they are not coming through.

I've noticed that australian events (at least the ones relevant to me) haven't been pulling from eventor for quite some time as well...

@Canadian, you should be good now, there was a bug in the import. Note that club-level events are not currently imported from WJR. From what I have seen these are usually meetings or weekly training groups?

@bart which events are you looking for?

Bart, at the very least they need to have locations assigned to them (arena) and also an organiser I think? Otherwise the relevant info can't be pulled through. There was an issue a while back that club events weren't coming through but I think that was fixed.

Thanks Ken! Yes you're right. Club level events are for training sessions etc. and the local classification is supposed to be used for your typical weekend events etc.
