Discussion: 45 degrees

I'm not risking that - heading south instead. Today (Wed) was hot enough.

We're going to Bendigo this weekend for a wedding, I've decided not being there Friday might be a wise idea.

Kent Town (old site) made 45 today without even trying; a December record for any Adelaide site...

May not have been going to be 45 on Christmas Day in Benalla, but 44 is forecast tomorrow (and 45 for Bendigo).

I see Canberra will hit 40 during the weekend. Not that it's an issue for me. We had a number of impressive monsoonal downpours today in the Maldives. :-)

At one stage Canberra was forecast for 43 on Saturday, but it looks like the change might move through a bit quickly for maximum heating so it's been downgraded to "only" 41. (Instead Sydney cops it - 48 for Penrith...).

I see you're having a marvellous time working in my former place of work. Soooo glad l'm not still there.....

Only there for the media conferences, though we do have a forecaster working there through the summer.
