Discussion: Call for Nominations - OUSA Competitive Awards

It is time for OUSA members to nominate our top athletes for the 2019 outstanding performance awards. Awards will be presented in the the following categories:
- Orienteer of the Year
- Junior Orienteer of the Year
- Comet of the Year
- Team of the Year

Thanks to 2 generous donors, winners of the three individual awards will receive stipends of $500, honorable mentions will receive $100. Recipients will be able to use the funds towards travel, meet entries and orienteering equipment.

Nominate deserving orienteers by emailing me with a brief statement about the nominee/s.
You can nominate any orienteer/s nationwide who you feel demonstrated outstanding proficiency throughout 2019. DEADLINE for Nominations: November 15

Make sure that no one from your club or team gets left off the nominations list. Send in your nomination with a brief summary of some of their accomplishments. Deadline: November 15.

Great way to recognize those you feel are top performers and those rapidly rising in their competition skills.

Don't forget to send in your nominations...due Nov. 15th. Keep in mind that anyone can nominate anyone...parents can nominate children, children can nominate parents, team mates can nominate each other...you can even nominate yourself (we are nonjudgmental ;^)
