They didn’t check ferritin or the test result hadn’t come back - I’m not sure - either way he categorically said I’m not anaemic because the blood count was ok... just on the paler side! Cheers - been sick as a dog since I got here... think WC is probably a bit of a write off but can hopefully come good for some of PWT

Ask them specifically for the ferritin level, they should have it or check it and it can make you feel dreadful if low (even if well within 'normal' levels. Hope you feel better soon and manage to enjoy the trip x

Yeah I had a chat with Kirstin yesterday and she explained her situation to me a bit more and what she gets checked and why - makes a bit more sense to me so I’ll go and get it and a few other things checked when I’m home... just been feeling so flat for a while and health so up and down this year!
Picked up an absolutely rotten cough on the plane and am feeling really messed about from the antibiotics I’m on so it’s all just hit a head really! Hopefully turn around in a few days and can enjoy PWT. Hope you guys are all good at home!
