I have some photos in Flickr here (lots of duplicates since I haven't edited yet; mostly pics of rocks and the few other people I saw out on the course...). :-)

This was a really fun event -- pencil it in for 2020 if you enjoy desert orienteering.

What´s the difference between white and yellow on the maps. Is there actual forest or is it just rocky desert?

It's all open desert -- except for one distinct tree on the Day 2 map (#40 in the SW corner). The yellow areas were more sandy & brush-y, whereas the white areas were mostly more hard-packed and easier to run on.
