...always get a late start?

I'd assumed in advance that the net effect of doing a parkrun first would be slightly negative, but unusually I managed to do the parkrun really slowly (34 minutes!) and there were good tracks to 1 and 12, so I now think that the net effect was positive. However, Rachel also had by far her best run of the week off her pre-11 o'clock start time, so not everyone with an early start did badly ...
