Finally got some orienteering in at the ROC RIT sprint mania. 3 courses on a great venue, the Rochester Institute of Technology which is grandly landscaped and even has woods amongst all those big buildings. I really appreciated the clearness of the map showing the passages thru buildings it really helped with route choice and getting around. I thought the kids at the engineering camp would be interested in what we were doing but they were playing basketball too hard near a control. Theyll learn. The finish/start area was nicely framed between 2 buildings with the path leading right to it. Good job ROC!
Second everything said, so glad to have been able to make it to these!
Mapping credit, by the way, goes to Ed Despard. And I agree, it is an excellent map.
