Tundra/Desert:
Sharon Crawford and Sergey Velichko qualified for the Middle Final. The remaining 22 or so of us didn't.

Looks like Brian Ellis was the star for Canada, with a 10th place in M75-3. Assuming that is good enough for an A final.

This may be the poorest showing for U.S. and/or Canada in years. Perhaps some will advance from the B Final tomorrow.

One more USA Middle A finalist: Nancy Neuburger of Possum Trot made it to W70A.

Also note that Sharon not only made her A final, but is the 3rd seed (thanks to finishing 2nd in her qualification heat).

Re Canada:

Yes Brian May made it to M75A. Both Marg Ellis (W70B) and Kevin Matrosovs (M45B) just barely missed making their A.

I hope to make it to M75A some day, but not quite there yet :-).

Wish WMOC was one week earlier next year... (or WMTBOC one week later)

if WMOC earlier, then on top of WRC

Can'y win them all (plus it's a totally different continent, unlike this year). WRC clashes with WMTBOC this year. Only really affects me next year because WMOC is during our mandatory training week (being the week prior to the MTBO events) and sadly they're in neighbouring countries.
