Discussion: Python Rogaine Registration Opens July 4

Registration closes at 11:59 pm on Sunday, September 15th.

Only 150 participants for this 10 or 3 hour event. The Python is set in the beautiful Cuyahoga Valley National Park, sports over 70 checkpoints including a few in a corn maze! Full info at the event web site.

This event is a go! Checkpoints approved by the Cuyahoga Valley National Park environmental staff. This is one of only two national parks that permit orienteering events.

Check out the swag at the event site. This year will feature a muff hat with an orienteering map theme for the 10 hour participants.

The local Hampton Inn is offering a good deal on lodging for the Python. The deal is only good through the end of August. See the event page for details.

Registration really closes 12 days before the event ?

In the past years, the event was held in mid-October. This year it is held in late September. It screwed up my opportunity to meetup in mid-race with this bunch of beer-loving people, as I did in the past two years.
