We made a TV programme for the BBC. You might be interested to see it if you can access BBC iplayer here . Stateside friends can play the "spot the American" game! I'll write some detailed analysis on my log.

A two hour program on sprint orienteering? I think I'll leave that one to the Brits.

Some of us North Americans love sprints!

Name one North American who would like to watch a two-hour (not live) TV program about sprint orienteering.

OK I concede. I was wrong. There are at least three.

I regularly watch 3+ hours of live baseball, so a 2 hour production about sprint orienteering might honestly border on too exciting!

Absolutely would watch!

Absolute best thing to watch from a tread mill. Learned that from my son, even if I can never match a fraction of the distances he covers in the same orienteering TV show.

And me.
And I suspect also all of the other attackpointers who watch WOC live each year...

Plus me...and working on corrupting an entire troop worth of scouts, too. We have one who’s been watching sprints on YouTube since our last meeting 2 weeks ago!

Having watched the programme and read Graeme's log. That was excellent. An amazing amount of detail went into those races. (iplayer doesn't work in US. Maybe use a VPN Hotspot/Shield)

@khall. One more reason - the event is the 25th JOK Chasing Sprint. Former international winners include Kirsten Hall and Daniel Hubmann :).

Was such a fun race even despite the wasp stings and days of swollen leg after haha.
Very well done Graeme! And thanks to everyone else who volunteered!

and there you see the wrong mind set of an old guy.

Keep up the good work promoting our sport in an awesome way regardless which distance! :)

Only got 8 minutes through it so far Graeme but it is starting out super.
Glad it is now taped. Had I'd been watching it live they would have had me hooked for the next two hours. Great program host!

The first few minutes looked great! Looking forward to the rest!

Two hours is ok, but most can't just watch on a whim; have to put it on a to-do list -- conditioned on the availability of WiFi.

Ha! First time I've seen Patrick Winterton in front of the camera. But where was his buddy Mike Dixon?
