Discussion: Lake Bled

We did a cycling tour about 5 years ago, starting from Lake Bled. We were staying on the opposite side of the lake the first two days. Slovenia is quite beautiful! Nice to read about your adventures. You are doing very well. Alas, mistakes happen sometimes in orienteering. I mispunched two weeks ago in a race I was leading.

Thanks, Charlie! I kind of remember reading your cycling tour accounts in Slovenia, Croatia (?) and Albania or Macedonia. And one (or two) time(s) it rained quite a bit on you. Yes, I agree, Slovenia is quite beautiful and we feel well here.
And yes, those lack of concentration-mistakes happen in orienteering, and for me they are even more-so annoying because it is not really that I made a mistake orienteering but not paying attention for a moment.
