I am going with the walk-just-about-the-whole-thing plan. Although I will jog the finish chute!

I think our team is more concerned with confusing requirements to stay here or there, take this or that bus, instructions to not leave an area for what might be 4 hours and so forth. DOD ID? No parking near sprint. Might not sprint. Challenging security concerns. Walk most of the whole thing always works for you. Hope to find the finish chute. Nice hike the other day, Speedo.

I like the plan. Th only thing I’m confused about is the line “everyone must remain in the middle arena” suggesting we are captive prisoners until its time to take a bus to the sprint bus, and then go to the sprint. Since that seems ridiculous it can’t possibly be true. It’s all going to be great!

My sense is that the middle finish is near the sprint arena/start/finish. So there might be a way to not return to the parking in between the middle and the sprint if you didn't want to. But I plan to go back to my car anyway since it's not clear to me that there is a way to bring enough gear - to be comfortable especially if there's rain - to the middle start and have it transported to the middle finish/sprint arena. Anyway, I'll figure it out once I'm there. See you soon!

Arena isn't near sprint starts from what I can tell. Sounds like there's a bus to take from the PX parking/Middle finish/arena to the sprint start (and back), with a 10-min ride. Sprint starts are close to bus drop-off.

Meet notes say *clothing* from start (near Daly Field per p 3 of the meet notes) will be taken to finish. Bus pickup back to PX/middle arena is from Gillis Field House.
