Hello Fellow Trainers and Local NJ and HVO onienteers.

I am leading a White and Yellow Course (training and two Beg. courses), 11 am on Saturday March 30th. If there are Scout O hikers, HVO or DVOA members that can spare some volunteer time to help as start and finish officials, please contact me via email at rrycharski345 AT Optonline dot net, I can use the help. Plan is to have 3 shifts of arrivals of 60 Scouts (20 or so each shift, 11 am, 12 noon and 1:30 pm starts). THis is not a public event (sorry), but Volunteer helpers (registration or Start) will be allowed to Hike on the Debut of a new Scout Training topo map, (1: 7500, 3 meter contours, 1st usage) Base map by Gordon Hunter (USOF), I did the field work, and Final Map OCAD by Paul Bennett (HVO) . Original Base Map 2013 by T277 scouter Bjorn Walberg (HVO) - request Bucket List details upon request. Oh, and I bring good weather and delicious cookie bribes for meet workers. I can use a few NJ locals or club members and PAY IT FORWARD and teach the NJ youth new Orienteering skills. MEEt Up ... at Crestwood Park, Allendale, NJ at the Red Barn Shelter. Thanks Bob Rych arski (DVOA and HVO and ROG (Rycharski Orienteering Group member) :-)

Oh Guys and Gals, THe future Plan is the park is small, Yes, but is large enough for future O club Sprint type Orienteering, plenty of gullies and woods and open fields for a challenging sprint event (Hint, any one want to plan one for the Fall with ME? Or a Score O format event) ... many possibilities .... RR
