Did Pepper come back with you?

Thanks for your concern. Dee came back first, at 1:30 am, and then Pepper an hour later. Pepper was limping, but after taking out a small thorn this morning, she seems fine. Such tired pups, me too.

The good part is that Dee has not left Pepper woods since the first time she escaped and got hit by a car. However, this don’t make it any less stressful.

But, seeing the girls run so gracefully and happily through the woods...

Phew, thanks for the update! Our Brody has escaped a few times and I feel so scared while he’s gone. Glad everyone is OK after the Big Adventure.

Holy cow! My worst nightmare. I'm obsessive about checking all gates before I let them off leash for this reason. Hope the adventures are kept to a minimum from now on.

Our scariest escape was last summer. 'Bent was so proud of all the yard work he'd done but he'd left the back gate open out of sight of the house. Aieee.
