Probably true! I do think that the finding or not of trods on this type of area makes a big difference though.

that could be so BUT in this case, after studying RG, I reckon I may have lost more time deviating from the line for that purpose than I might have gained (#7, #23) and I didn't push as hard as I might have done up the valley knowing I had declared n/c
