my set-aside-for-working-out time

The last few years I was working I had a "set-aside-for-working-out time" that started at 1 pm every workday, and it was set in stone. No one in the office ever tried to schedule anything for me then. And I was really good about not breaking the rule myself.

The hour of exercise was great for morale and I'm sure it made me a better and more productive worker.

I can't believe regular workouts won't make you a better teacher (and a better mom). You just need to be firm with yourself, and others, so that the time really is set in stone.

Yeah. I need to better defend the workout hours. They are in my schedule, but when I can't find a time for a needed meeting they are sometimes suffering (already, in week 1...). Am going to be better at defending though, because like you I will be way productive having gotten the workout in!!

It's just so easy to put too much on my plate. Gotta get some of it off!
