Surely if you turn round at halfway you shouldn't overtake or be overtaken? Or can no-one in hbt pace themselves?

I think this happened for two reasons:
1) Nobody in HBT can pace themselves
2) Many were not timing the reps so were relying on others for when to turn and I would gain some distance
