Wyatt and I finally got together on the handling of food for the marathon this weekend at Valley Forge. The cost of the food was not included in your registration fee so there will two ways to handle paying for it. One being a $15 donation to the senior team which will entitle you to eat for the day. The second is to pay per each item you eat. Now I don't expect you to carry cash with you while you run so you can either give me money on account before the race and we settle up at the end or you can just settle up at the end of the race. Now I will be the only person at the food station and I will do my best to remember what you ate but I also expect the honor system from you to as to what you owe for at the end. Between the two of us we should get it correct.

Now to help you decide which is the best way to go here are the prices of the food that will be available

soup/chili $3.00
Hot dogs 2.00
drinks hot/cold 1.00
Philly soft pretzel
rods 2/1.00
cookies, individual
packs of chips, pretzels, etc 1.00

Any questions let me know, see you saturday,

Water, Gatorade, some Mt. Dew & Coke (partially flattened to drink as you go) plus bananas will be available at the aid stations and the start finish area (5 places on the course, not counting start/finish), included with your event fees. There are also some water fountains out there (still on as of today) and one water-only stop at ~4km for those who can't wait until until the water fountains at 9km.

All the _real_ food you want during & after the Marathon is available from Janet. Please considering making the all-you-can-eat $15 donation to the US Team. This supports the team, and makes it easy for you and Janet.
