confusion all round.
No-body appears to know what they want to do at the moment and the addition of some new routes seems to have created chaos when people come to trying to decide what group to join and how hard things are going to go.
Sorry for darting off from the lights, Ross wanted to catch the 9:30, it would have ben good but its was never going to happen...

Agreed. I had been happily riding with the faster 9:45 group, but they seem to have moved up to 9:40 and the 9:45 ride had got single-group, slow and long. I guess there are too many "hangers-on" like me, and nobody knows who is in charge. Perhaps that could be discussed among the more experienced riders on the way to Dalkeith? What happened with your massive group - did it split in an orderly manner or did people just drop off the back in ones and twos?

Ha ha, no it pulled up by the side of the road for a bit of squabbling, I just rode off with 3 others and we had a decent ride.
